Christian Academy is 6-0 against Williamsburg Academy since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Christian Academy Saints will head out on the road to take on the Williamsburg Academy Stallions at 7:45 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Florence Christian at home as they won 53-36.
Meanwhile, Williamsburg Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Carolina Academy with a sharp 74-49 win. Williamsburg Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.
Among those leading the charge was Conrad Balder, who scored 24 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Smith, who scored 15 points.
Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Williamsburg Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
Everything came up roses for Christian Academy against Williamsburg Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 74-22 victory. With Christian Academy ahead 43-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
