Logan Barbour Delivers Best Effort of Season
Logan Barbour produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Yucaipa to the win on Thursday. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
Barbour is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Redlands on Friday. Barbour rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Terriers duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Performance from Isaac Vitela Leads Redlands East Valley over Yucaipa
Sadly, Isaac Vitela posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Redlands East Valley over Yucaipa on Thursday. Vitela threw for 396 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 75 yards on only eight carries.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats faces off against Beaumont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will pit Vitela up against the Cougars' star quarterback Jeremiah Duhu. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Another Game with at Least Five Passing Touchdowns from Evan Powell
Cajon was led to victory by Evan Powell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Powell wasn't messing around, throwing for 330 yards and six touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. The contest was his third straight with five or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season. He is becoming a predictor of Cajon's success: when he posts at least 300 passing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Powell and Cajon will square off against Citrus Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cowboys had to take a loss when they last met the Blackhawks, but Powell had little to do with the loss: he threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Deace Turner's Big Game Leads Yucaipa over Redlands East Valley
Deace Turner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 31 yards and a touchdown. Yucaipa is undefeated when Turner posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Redlands East Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Turner it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Turner saw the Wildcats), he threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown.
