The Quapaw Wildcats are on the road again on Monday and play against the Welch Wildcats at 8:30 p.m. on December 11th.
Last Tuesday, Quapaw was beaten by Baxter Springs 72-41.
Welch can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Bluejacket with points to spare, taking the game 51-33.
Mason Clinton was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Deighton Bellew was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Quapaw's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Welch, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-3.
Quapaw came up short against Welch in their previous meeting back in February, falling 57-53. Thankfully for Quapaw, Austin Haskell (who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
