Columbine Gets a Boost from Basinger in 35-34 Defeat
Starting off the list is Columbine's James Basinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Basinger rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 66 yards.
Columbine moved to 7-1 with that loss, which also ended their 21-game winning streak. Basinger and Columbine will venture away from home to challenge Denver South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zeke Andrews' Big Game Leads Ralston Valley over Columbine
Zeke Andrews posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards.
The victory (which was Ralston Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Andrews and Ralston Valley will take on Denver East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Green As Arvada West Won 29-21
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jaiden Green stepped things up a notch to give Arvada West the 'W'. Nobody could stop Green as he picked up 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 87 yards on only 12 carries.
Arvada West's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chatfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will pit Green up against the Chargers' star running back Brock Narva. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Mark Snyder Makes It Two for Columbine
Another Columbine player making an appearance on this list is Mark Snyder. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 63 yards.
On the season, Snyder has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 129.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Brycen Leal Goes Supernova in Chatfield Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Brycen Leal of Chatfield. Leal rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Chatfield's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Leal and Chatfield will square off against Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
