Flag Football Recap: Halle Jacobson and Izzy Beasley Pace Northside Methodist Academy Defense

Northside Methodist Academy and LeFlore squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Northside Methodist Academy had to settle for second. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rattlers.

When it comes to explaining why Northside Methodist Academy lost, don't look at Sydney Freeman. Despite the final result, she threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and one score. 85 of Freeman's passing yards were hauled in by Anna Grace Bull, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Northside Methodist Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Halle Jacobson and Izzy Beasley.

Northside Methodist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for LeFlore, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
