Sonoraville's last matchup with North Murray could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's  game on Friday. The Phoenix were beaten by the Mountaineers 49-21.  Despite the loss, Sonoraville still got an impressive performance from   Jayden Cruz, who rushed for 196 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Cruz also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Phoenix are 3-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.  Braxen McMahan also helped out with an impressive 82  receiving yards.
  Hudson Hulett produced another solid  effort rushing for 242 yards and four  scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 80 yards and one  touchdown on only six passes for North Murray. Hulett is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing touchdowns: he's   punched in at least two every time he's  taken the field this season.  Layten Myers was another key player, gaining 141 total yards and two touchdowns.
Sonoraville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Murray, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
