The Carroll Patriots gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fairborn by a score of 51-39.
Defeat or not, Fairborn got some senior leadership from Jadon Larson who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and Taiyou Williams who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds. Williams scored a full 30.8% of Fairborn's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Carroll's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fairborn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Fenwick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairborn, they will be playing at home against West Carrollton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
