The biggest upset of the week belonged to Newport, who took down 399th ranked Juniata, 45-42.
Pine Grove moved up to 324 from 412 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Tri-Valley. The Cardinals were able to move up by topping Upper Dauphin Area 21-13.
Williams Valley's dynamic duo of Stephen Sedesse and Cody Miller proved tough for Line Mountain to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sedesse threw for 269 yards and 4 touchdowns and Miller had 175 yards receiving. Cole Barnhardt helped Williams Valley's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 51 yards.
The Vikings' dynamic duo of Sedesse and Miller proved to be unstoppable against the Eagles, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Miller was the best receiver in the league this week as Williams Valley defeated Line Mountain.
Hunter Harner was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 155 yards on 18 carries as Tri-Valley bested Rodney Knock's team. Teammate Tanner Coleman added to the ground attack by rushing for 105 yards.
Sedesse put up the best numbers in passing as the Vikings defeated the Eagles.
He was 17-23 with 0 interception.
Leading Tri-Valley in both passing and receiving yards, Williams Valley's Sedesse and Miller have proven to be a lethal combination. Sedesse has thrown for 851 yards this season, while Miller, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 19 catches for 476 yards. The Bulldogs' Harner leads the league in rushing yards with 611.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Vikings and Halifax face off next week.
As it stands, the Trojans are in fourth, while Tri-Valley is in second.
Williams Valley added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Line Mountain, 39-2. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Vikings.
