Even though the Mulberry Panthers scored an imposing 64 points on Monday, the Lake Region Thunder still came out on top. Lake Region managed a 68-64 victory over Mulberry. That's another feather in the cap for Lake Region, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lake Region's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brenton Allen, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Devan Booker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Lake Region has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Mulberry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Lakeland Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
