Temple Christian Academy have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 75-47 victory over Christ's Church Academy at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Temple Christian Academy.
Temple Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Troy Jenkins dropped a double-double on 32 points and 15 rebounds and Cameron Carpenter dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Jenkins' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of YaShaun Pierre, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Temple Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points per game. As for Christ's Church Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple Christian Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cedar Creek Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Christ's Church Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Beaches Chapel at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th.
