The Bell Eagles were the 51-45 winner over the Workman Lobos when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bell had to suffer through a rough 67-37 loss at the hands of Workman. Bell has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Aaron Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 steals for Workman. The contest was Hernandez's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Sammy Contreras was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Bell's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Workman, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bell will take on South Gate at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. South Gate comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Workman, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Katella at 6:30 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully Katella focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Monday.
