Levi Schriefer and Sina Firoozya provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Upland Christian Academy. The longest such play in Agape (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 55 yards.
Lucerne Valley added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Victor Valley Christian, 70-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Mustangs.
Adam Hussman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as California Lutheran fell to the Eagles.
Erik Dahler threw for 124 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Dahler put up the best numbers through the air as Upland Christian Academy topped the C-Hawks. Dahler's favorite target this week was Beau McCombs, who caught 3 passes for 41 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Lucerne Valley's Daniel Stratton and Lonye Logan have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Stratton has thrown for 866 yards this season, while Logan has 20 catches for 459 yards. Hussman from California Lutheran leads the league in rushing with 902 yards.
Hussman of the Dave Peter's team is just 98 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 145 carries Hussman has put up 902 yards this year.
The Mustangs are in first place, while the C-Hawks are in third place.
The Royals fell to Lucerne Valley 70-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. ETHAN HARRIS threw for 30 yards and 1 touchdown in the defeat.
