The Cypress Creek Coyotes will head out on the road to face off against the Gaither Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Cypress Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Pasco to the tune of 52-17 on Friday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Coyotes had established a 31-point advantage.

Jayden Fountain
| 10/17/25 vs Pasco | 88 |
| 11/07/24 @ Wesley Chapel | 69 |
| 09/19/25 vs Fivay | 59 |
| 09/26/25 @ Springstead | 55 |

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Starlin Montero and Jayden Fountain. Montero rushed for 100 yards and two TDs on only eight carries while Fountain rushed for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Those 88 rushing yards gave Fountain a new career-high.
Cypress Creek didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Pasco to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Coyotes have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.59 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.59 in their last three games.
Meanwhile, Gaither came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-7 win over the Wildcats. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 36 points or more this season.
Cypress Creek better keep an eye on Ryan Browning. He was instrumental in Gaither's win, throwing for 301 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes. Browning has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Joshua Balloon was in the mix as well, providing Gaither with one score.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Gaither's defense and their five sacks. Jacob Aquino was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Gaither received some extra help from Balloon, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Gaither's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cypress Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
Cypress Creek took a serious blow against Gaither in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 42-0. Thankfully for the Coyotes, Ej Archield Jr (who threw for 270 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
