The Ocoee Knights will challenge the Jones Fightin' Tigers at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
Things were looking good for Ocoee after they put the first  points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell  21-14 to West Orange. The Knights were up  14-0 in the second  quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
 The losing side was boosted by   Michael Blackmon, who rushed for 44 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 Meanwhile, Jones came tearing into  Friday's  game with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Thunder 49-0. Given the Fightin' Tigers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Thunder are ranked 356th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Jones' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Ocoee, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Ocoee ended up a good deal behind  Jones in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, losing  14-0. Can the Knights avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
