D1 District 4 (8 Man) recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in D1 District 4 (8 Man) this week, High Plains beat Emerson-Hubbard 30-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Storm.
Nebraska Christian fell to Burwell 59-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
High Plains' Logan Engel and Cole Klingsporn led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Engel has thrown for 1,252 yards this season, while Klingsporn has 24 catches for 450 yards. The Eagles' Carson Huenefeld leads the league in rushing yards with 734.
Greg Wood's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on the Pirates. Jabe Wurtz threw for 12 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 48 yards in the win.
