Mecklenburg County's game  last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Colonial Heights Colonials  an   8-0 shutout.  Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mecklenburg County will take on George Washington at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Colonial Heights, they will look to defend their home pitch  on Thursday against Meadowbrook at 6:00  p.m. Colonial Heights' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
