Meanwhile, Coolidge faced Cardozo in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Coolidge really took it to Cardozo for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-6 win on the road. That looming 74-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Coolidge yet this season.
Coolidge relied on the efforts of Jaylyn Derricott, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds, and Josslyn Derricott, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Derricott has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tairyn Walker, who scored eight points along with four steals.
