Chapel Hill is 2-8 against Carrboro since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday.  Meanwhile, Carrboro fell victim to a  rough 18-4 loss at the hands of Riverside-Durham  on Monday. Carrboro has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Vivian Martin was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double.
 Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Carrboro, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Monday's   contest will be a test for both team's pitchers. Chapel Hill hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like Carrboro struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .327. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
