The Chapman Panthers's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Spartanburg Christian Academy 61-22 on the road. That looming 61-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Chapman yet this season.
Chapman found their leader in underclassman Colby Moon, who scored 14 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Moon grabbed two or more steals. Colt Mcallister was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Chapman and Broome will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Lance Henderson and Rashawn Cunningham. Spartanburg Christian Academy is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Brashier Middle College Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 2nd. One thing working in Brashier Middle College Charter's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
