On Thursday, the Tolman Tigers faced the Shea Raiders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Tolman came out on top against Shea by a score of 53-41. Tolman's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Tolman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malik Gelinas, who scored 13 points along with four steals and three blocks. The matchup was Gelinas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Isiah Gois was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Tolman's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Shea, they have fallen quite a ways from their 17-6 record last season and are now at 1-3.
Tolman will be home for the holidays to greet Providence Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shea, they will head out on the road to face off against Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
