Bergan Catholic has gone a perfect 4-0 against Weeping Water recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bergan Catholic and six for Weeping Water.
On Thursday, Bergan Catholic came up short against Concordia and fell 3-1. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-18 in the first set.
Bergan Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-11.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zoe Janke, who had 24 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Keira Schmidt, who had 16 digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Weeping Water came up short against Palmyra on Thursday, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-15.
Weeping Water's loss dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Bergan Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.
Bergan Catholic took their victory against Weeping Water in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
