In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Allison Peacock, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Adelina Dodge, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Interlachen saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dyana Valdez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Julianis Morales was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Peniel Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Interlachen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Interlachen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Peniel Baptist Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Interlachen, though, as they've been averaging 10.7 hits. Given Peniel Baptist Academy's sizable advantage in that area, Interlachen will need to find a way to close that gap.
