The Santa Rosa Warriors lost against the Pioneer Diamondbacks back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Santa Rosa was outmatched by Pioneer on the road and fell 83-52.
Pioneer's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Valdez, who scored 17 points along with 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua E Gaither, who scored 17 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
Santa Rosa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Santa Rosa will be playing at home against Jubilee Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jubilee Brownsville's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Pioneer will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Miller at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
