They were the victim of a tough 75-50 loss at the hands of Central Valley Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Notre Dame in their matchups with Central Valley Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Deacon Judd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Valley Academy, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Judd has scored at least 25% of Central Valley Academy's points. Tom Jacquays was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Notre Dame's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Central Valley Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Notre Dame will be home for the holidays to greet Vernon-Verona-Sherrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Vernon-Verona-Sherrill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. As for Central Valley Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Oneida at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
