The Estrella Foothills Wolves entered their tilt with the Dysart Demons with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Estrella Foothills breezed by Dysart at home to the tune of 77-31. Estrella Foothills might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 12 matchups by 30 points or more this season.
Estrella Foothills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alina Bowden led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Bowden's third in a row with at least ten points. Eva Amenhauser was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and eight assists.
Estrella Foothills pushed their record up to 15-1 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Dysart, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estrella Foothills' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Monument Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. Monument Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Estrella Foothills is ranked 15th). Dysart will be home for the holidays to greet Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Vista Grande is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
