Bayside found their leader in sophomore  Adison Carter, who  had 14 assists and 11  digs. Those 11  digs set a new season-high mark for  Carter.
 Bayside  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in eight consecutive  matches.
 Despite the loss, Heritage still got an impressive performance from   Eva Vuichard, who  had ten  digs, six  aces,  and five  kills. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyra Davis, who  had 15  kills and six  digs.
Bayside's record is now 6-15. As for Heritage,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-6.
 Bayside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  defeat against Harmony on the 30th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  2-1  loss against Westminster Academy on the 26th.
