After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedarburg, Nicolet was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Bend East Suns with a sharp 61-35 victory. That looming 61-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Despite the loss, West Bend East saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kara Hesse posted seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Nicolet's win bumped their record up to 4-17. As for West Bend East, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
