Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Stargate School struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Colorado Academy racked up 15 assists.
Jefferson Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Stargate School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Saturday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy contest: Jefferson Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 30.2 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Stargate School, though, as they've been averaging only 24.1 rebounds per game. Given Jefferson Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Stargate School will need to find a way to close that gap.
