The Twiggs Academy Trojans won against the John Hancock Academy Rebels last Tuesday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Twiggs Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rebels and snuck past 46-43. The victory was nothing new for Twiggs Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Twiggs Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for John Hancock Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Twiggs Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Matadors at 6:00 p.m. Memorial Day has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for John Hancock Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
