On Friday, the Johnson Jaguars faced the Reagan Rattlers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Johnson's defense stepped up to hand Reagan a 2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Johnson sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Johnson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Reagan, their loss dropped their record down to 9-1-1.
Johnson will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson is facing Marshall at the right time seeing as Marshall is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Reagan, they will head out on the road to square off against Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
