The Pahrump Valley Trojans stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Sports Leadership & Management 52-19 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Pahrump Valley who now have eight in a row.
Pahrump Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paris Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Moore, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Pahrump Valley's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pahrump Valley will face off against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Pahrump Valley is ranked seventh). Sports Leadership & Management on the road again on Thursday and play against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
