Basketball Recap: Marist Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Marist won the last time they faced Seaside and things went their way on Monday too. The Marist Spartans came out on top against the Seaside Seagulls by a score of 53-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Marist has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Seaside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marist will venture away from home to square off against Cascade at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cascade is on a four-game streak of home wins, Marist a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Seaside, they will head out to challenge North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
