The Carrollton Warriors suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against West Branch, falling 59-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Carrollton has scored all season.
Hillari Baker and Brae Roudebush certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Baker scored ten points, while Roudebush scored six points along with five rebounds.
Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for West Branch, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
Carrollton will be playing in front of their home fans against Sandy Valley at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Sandy Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 465th, while Carrollton is ranked 115th). As for West Branch, they will head out on the road to take on Struthers at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
