There's no place like home for Plainview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Collinsville Panthers a 15-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Bears have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Plainview has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Collinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11-1.

Plainview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 victory against Crossville on the 11th. As for Collinsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-4 win against Fyffe on the 11th.
