The Summertown Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Franklin Classical School as Summertown made off with a 93-69 victory. Considering Summertown has won six games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Grayson Burleson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 44 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Summertown's points. Lleyton Sherman was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Summertown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Franklin Classical School, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
Summertown won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Franklin Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Franklin Christian Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Franklin Classical School and Mt. Pleasant will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mt.
