The Robertsdale Golden Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Robertsdale is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Tuesday, Robertsdale was able to grind out a solid win over Elberta, taking the game 9-6.

Robertsdale got a great performance from Ashton Mckey as she pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Mckey has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Robertsdale let Kahlen Morgan and Braylin Blocker run wild. Morgan scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4, while Blocker went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Morgan snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Stevens, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last match, Cottage Hill Christian Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Foley on Monday. Cottage Hill Christian Academy blew past Foley 16-3. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.
Madison Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Brown was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Cottage Hill Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jaycee Mosley, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Makenzie Gartman was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. The victory got Robertsdale back to even at 5-5.
Everything went Robertsdale's way against Cottage Hill Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2017, as Robertsdale made off with a 13-2 win.
