Aaron Deleon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Stratford over Cy-Fair
Starting off the list is Stratford's Aaron Deleon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Deleon rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 102 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Those 131 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Stratford's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. Deleon and Stratford will challenge Cypress Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cypress Falls was led to victory by Chase Ferrell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ferrell rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Ferrell and Cypress Falls will face off against Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferrell will face off against Hunter Biehl, the Spartans' star WR. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
