The Fairfield Falcons lost against the Lincoln Leopards back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fairfield fell just short of Lincoln by a score of 50-48. Fairfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Calen Wente, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Connor Fowler, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Fairfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Otis-Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Stafford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
