The Wicomico Indians lost against the Decatur Seahawks back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Wicomico had to suffer through a rough 74-32 loss at the hands of Decatur. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wicomico has scored all season.
It was another big night for Brycen Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds for Decatur. Coleman hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Davin Chandler, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Wicomico's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Decatur, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wicomico will square off against Bennett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Decatur, they will head out on the road to face off against Kent Island at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Decatur's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 contests.
