Mediapolis hadn't done well against Notre Dame recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Nikes. Mediapolis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Mediapolis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those eight games. As for Notre Dame, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Mediapolis has already played their next match, a 5-1 win against West Burlington on the 5th. As for Notre Dame, they will challenge Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Pleasant will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight.
