The Windham Bombers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cardinal Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
After soaring to a 39-point win in their last game, Windham came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of Pymatuning Valley by a score of 48-45.
Meanwhile, Cardinal's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Berkshire on the road and fell 72-37. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cardinal in their matchups with the Badgers: they've now lost three in a row.
Windham's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Cardinal, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.
Everything came up roses for Windham against the Huskies in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 71-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Windham since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
