Fort Myers waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Riverdale Raiders as they made off with  a  13-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Green Wave, who have now won 12 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
Fort Myers got a  massive  performance out of  Sage Rodmyre, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Amira Peterson, who  went 2-for-5 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Rodmyre wasn't the only one making solid contact: Fort Myers  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Fort Myers' victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-5-1. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Myers will head out to  square off against Ida Baker  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.08  runs per game on average), something the Green Wave will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Riverdale, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Barron Collier  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
