When it comes to explaining why Ponderosa lost, one person who can't be blamed is Noah Wilhelm. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Wilhelm has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson Keach, who scored 22 points.
Douglas County found their leader in underclassman London Moore, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Reilly Guerra was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Ponderosa's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Douglas County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
