Last Saturday, Patriot Prep Academy ended up a good deal behind Horizon Science Academy and lost 62-43. Patriot Prep Academy was down 49-29 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Another player making a difference was Cameron Thomas, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Even though they lost, Patriot Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Cristo Rey lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Monday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Horizon Science Academy, falling 99-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Cristo Rey has suffered yet this season.
Patriot Prep Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Cristo Rey, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Patriot Prep Academy against Cristo Rey in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 72-32 win. With Patriot Prep Academy ahead 37-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
