Nazarene Christian Academy entered their tilt with Newman International Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Lions have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Struble made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

In other batting news, Aidan Adams was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Boston Busby, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Nazarene Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Newman International Academy only posted an OBP of .154.

Nazarene Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Newman International Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Looking ahead, Nazarene Christian Academy will host Westlake Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newman International Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Newman International Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Newman International Academy are facing Newman International Academy at the right time seeing as Newman International Academy are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
