Draven Lopez's Big Game Leads Hemet over Poly
Hemet picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Draven Lopez. Nobody could stop Lopez as he threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 72 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
Hemet pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Lopez and Hemet will venture away from home to challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Emiliano Villarreal stepped things up a notch to give Rancho Christian the 'W'. Villarreal was unstoppable, throwing for 243 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Rancho Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. Villarreal and Rancho Christian will challenge Poly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hillcrest Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Matthew Ramos
Matthew Ramos was instrumental in extending Hillcrest's winning streak to three on Friday. Arlington had no answer to Ramos as he threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards on only eight carries. Ramos is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
