Tucker County won the last time they faced Moorefield, and Trevan Bonner did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tucker County Mountain Lions breezed past the Moorefield Yellow Jackets to the tune of 82-40 on Monday which was due in part to Bonner, who on his way to 26 points and six steals. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 22 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Cummings, who posted 13 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%).

Tucker County pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Moorefield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Tucker County is taking a road trip to square off against Tygarts Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Tucker County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. Moorefield has already played their next contest (against Keyser), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
