Kim/Branson is 8-0 against the Bulldogs since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Kim/Branson Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Primero Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Primero took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kim/Branson, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Kim/Branson beat the Hornets 32-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kim/Branson.
Kim/Branson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kennedy Cranson out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cranson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Charlee Buhrle, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Primero's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 38-24 fall against Hanover. Primero has struggled against the Hornets recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Primero saw an underclassman step up: Isabela Maldonado scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Kim/Branson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Primero, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Kim/Branson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory.
