Despite their loss, Greenhill saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. William Black, who threw for 293 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 60 yards, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance gave Black a new career-high in rushing yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (113 yards to be exact) went to Austin Price.
Meanwhile, John Paul II was able to grind out a solid win over Sacred Heart on Saturday, taking the game 19-12.
Greenhill now has a losing record at 1-2. As for John Paul II, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
