Ethan Mcnulty Turns in Season-Best Performance
Conemaugh Valley was led to victory by Ethan Mcnulty, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mcnulty rushed for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 20.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.
With the victory, Conemaugh Valley broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7. Mcnulty and Conemaugh Valley will take on Conemaugh Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ty Dumm Dazzles in Northern Cambria Win
Ty Dumm posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 233 yards while picking up 13.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 144 yards on 14 of 20 attempts.
Conemaugh Township's probably not too fond of Dumm given he always seems to get the better of them. When Dumm last faced the Indians back in September of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Big Game from Layo As Portage Won 16-0
Bode Layo put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.
Layo must have Purchase Line's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Layo saw the Red Dragons), he picked up 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Eric Korhut Puts an End to Conemaugh Valley's Losing Streak on Friday
Conemaugh Valley's seven-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Eric Korhut. West Shamokin had no answer to Korhut on Friday as he rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Korhut has averaged 21.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.71 receiving yards per game.

Dylan Stephens put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 100 yards on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory was the fourth in a row for United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United], bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Stephens and United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] will take on Purchase Line at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
